This project consisted of working around a live shopping centre, therefore strategic planning around shopping centre working hours and council noise restrictions needed to be implemented. Kane Property Services (KPS) worked a constant 9:00pm-5:30pm period through the project, which included 2 crews of site managers, chippies and labourers. This insured limited disruptions to the centre and store owners and the work could be completed within the required time frame.
While completing the external footings for the large steel structure KPS was constantly disrupted by rain periods, slowing down the trench excavation and footing install. KPS accelerated the trench work and footing install by adding another crew to fast track these works. This insured the works could be completed within the specified time frames outlined in the forecast.
KPS, in all instances collaborated with the client to facilitate the design changes, working through design parameters with the clients project team to achieve an outcome that was envisioned by all relevant stakeholders.
KPS facilitated the install of a 1000L grease trap in the middle of the mall to enable future tenancy usage. This was a high traffic area and was required to be cleaned and made good before each morning. As this was not originally on the plans, KPS designed all parameters around the grease trap to effectively complete the install within a specified budget.
